The Big Kids have officially been released into the world! A day of celebration proceeded their installment early yesterday morning. We were thrilled with the community turnout and the overall reception of the pieces! If you haven’t seen the Big Kids yet, take a trip to the Greenline and give them a visit.
The Big Kids are getting ready for their big reveal. They would love to meet you!
As the carving team works to complete the figures, the cap fabrication team is making awesome progress as well. After a failed resin test, they’ve pulled ahead and are working to finish and cast five original molds.

Cap fabrication team is in the process of making a resin cast for the very first cap. So far two molds, a pliant latex shell and a plaster mold for reinforcement, have been cast over the original clay model. The design is a grouping of buildings resembling a city scape.
The carving team is in full gear, acting quickly to transform massive foam blocks into realistic human figures. One sitting and reclining figure are currently being worked on until more foam arrives. Fast progress is being made!
